Features of patients who received chemotherapy for breast cancer

Abstract

Results of the analysis of the data of 1504 patients who received chemotherapy for breast cancer in the Podillian Regional Oncology Center during 2015-2017 are presented in this article. A detailed analysis of the characteristics of this contingent of patients was carried out. A detailed analysis of data showed that the proportion of women of childbearing age who received chemotherapy as part of comprehensive treatment is 19.93% of all new cases. Among patients receiving chemotherapy, this figure was 28.79%. The most common chemotherapy regimen used in the study contingent was the CAF regimen, which included Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, and 5-Fluorouracil.
