Abstract:
This thesis explores innovative methods for teaching medical English to healthcare professionals, with a focus on enhancing communicative competence. It delves into the challenges faced by healthcare professionals in effectively communicating in English within diverse medical contexts. Through an extensive review of literature and case studies, the thesis investigates various pedagogical approaches, including technology integration, simulation-based learning, and task-based instruction. It examines the effectiveness of these approaches in improving language proficiency, cultural sensitivity, and interprofessional communication skills.
