Abstract:
The article presents a retrospective analysis of the concept of occupational and emotional burnout syndrome in medical professionals in the field of mental health. The analysis of domestic and foreign scientific sources, biblio-semantic, analytical, and statistical research methods had used in work. The leading causes of burnout and their factors had identified. The study involved 224 respondents – the medical staff of the regional psychiatric hospital in Vinnytsia. Among the
subjects were women – 84.8%, and men – 15.2%. Of the total
number of subjects, doctors accounted for 38.8% (87 people), nurses – 61.2% (137 people). The average age of respondents among doctors was 44.6±12.2 years, among SMP 37.2±11.4 years. Work experience in professional activities was: among doctors – 19.7±12.3 years and SMP – 15.5±11.1 years.For the experimental study had used, the psychodiagnostic method of emotional exhaustion Boyko V.V. and the adapted method of Vodopyanova N.E. Recommendations for mental health prevention measures for mental health professionals have developed. The prospect of further research on the problem of burnout is to study an effective system of prevention for the medical staff of health care institutions in Ukraine.
