The article reveals the analysis of methodological aspects of the problem of implementing environmental education, the main goal of which is to change a person's attitude to both personal health and the "feeling of self" of the surrounding environment, as well as the formation of high environmental literacy, deep environmental awareness and responsibility for the state surrounding environment. That is why higher education institutions should introduce comprehensive environmentalization of the system of education and upbringing into the educational process, which will contribute to the effective solution of problems in the field of environmental protection and control of ecological systems based on knowledge of the basic principles of functioning and interaction with society.
