Features of structure and predictors of cognitive disorders in patients after cardiac surgery

Abstract

Cognitive disorders are common after cardiac surgery. This study assessed their structure and predictors in the early postoperative period. 75% of patients had mild cognitive disorders before surgery. Predictors included history of stroke, coronary atherosclerosis, surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass, and dyslipidemia.
