dc.description.abstract | The application of the proposed ozone therapy method (combining ozonized saline and ozonized saline with blood saturation) in the complex rehabilitation of patients after community-acquired pneumonia associated with SARS-CoV-2 contributes to a decrease in the activity of the inflammatory process (85% of patients), full recovery of exercise tolerance (52% of patients), and improved well-being (95% of patients), compared to the probably lower results of purely medicinal treatment (60%, 10%, and 24% of patients, respectively). The method demonstrated probable effectiveness based on both subjective and objective criteria for assessing the patients' condition (p<0.01). Based on the analysis of the results, it can be assumed that the ozone therapy used in the proposed method has a positive effect on the levels of C-reactive protein, ferritin, and D-dimer, reflecting a decrease in the activity of the inflammatory process and the normalization of blood coagulation properties. A feature of the proposed rehabilitation approach is its diverse impact on the links of the pathogenetic process, the absence of drug overload on patients, and a small number of contraindications. This recovery program after COVID-19 is economically justified due to the faster improvement in physical tolerance and its low cost. | uk_UA |
