An adequate prognostic assessment of the level of psychophysiological and mental adaptation of high school students to the conditions of performing stressful everyday activities in modern general educational institutions should involve the solution of three leading tasks. The first task determines the need for an objective assessment of the level of development and the determination of the features of the formation of shifts from the criterion social and educationally significant psychophysiological functions and personality traits in the dynamics of learning in a modern general educational institution, the second – determines the need to create adequate to the simple and easy-to-use methods of comprehensive assessment of the studied characteristics based on the scientific justification of integral indicators or complex point assessment scales, the third – provides for the development, scientific justification and introduction ofapproaches to the timely correction of possible distortions from the natural course of the processes of social formation and educationally significant growth of students.
