dc.description.abstract The aim of the article is analysis of the problem of medical error, namely the lack of a single definition and understanding of conceptual categories. The complexity of the problem of the medical error is due to its intersection in two fields – medicine and law, where, on the one hand, the subject is human rights, including health as the highest social value, and on the other one – the quality of care and conscientious attitude of doctors to their professional responsibilities. Definition of a unified approach to solving the problem and analysis of the factors of formation of medical errors will reduce the impact of the latter and improve the quality of the medical care. en
