dc.description.abstract Chronic dermatoses are one of the most common groups of dermatological diseases that significantly affect patients' quality of life. This paper presents modern views on the pathogenesis, diagnostic approaches, and current treatment methods for diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and eczema, with a focus on the conditions of martial law in Ukraine and a comparison with global experience. The article highlights the challenges faced by military and civilian doctors in providing medical care under extreme conditions. The discrepancies in disease classification between civilian and military medical guidelines create additional challenges. The frequency and severity of these diseases have also increased among servicemen. Our review emphasizes the importance of integrating international experience and practices to improve the management of chronic dermatoses in Ukraine. It also discusses the unique stress factors experienced by military personnel, such as poor sanitary conditions, limited access to specialized care, and prolonged exposure to psychological stress. Special attention is given to the development of innovative strategies, including mobile medical teams, the use of telemedicine, and the introduction of educational programs to improve dermatological expertise among medical personnel. Furthermore, the analysis highlights the necessity of psychological support as an integral part of therapy to improve the overall health outcomes of patients. en
