Мeasures to improve the provision of psychological and psychotherapeutic assistance to the population of Ukraine and EU countries

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to study the problems of mental health of the population of Ukraine in the organization of psychiatric care and the comparative experience of the European Union. The methods used in the work are: bibliosemantic, historical, content analysis. The article is devoted to the problem of mental health in Ukraine and in the EU countries. Statistics in Ukraine show an increase in mental disorders due to many problems: poverty, unemployment, and a full-scale war in Ukraine, which is a great burden for all countries of the world. The WHO pays great attention, analyzes and provides recommendations, an action plan, examples of other countries that have experience in improving mental health and quickly resolving issues.
