| dc.description.abstract | To determine the features of anatomical damage to the coronary arteries in patients with hypertension and concomitant chronic coronary disease depending on the presence or absence of frequent ventricular extrasystole. 120 patients with hypertension with/without concomitant chronic coronary disease with/without frequent ventricular extrasystoles verified by Holter electrocardiogram monitoring were examined. The average age of the examined patients was 57.3±0.9 years. All patients with chronic coronary artery disease included in the study underwent invasive coronary angiography to verify the diagnosis and determine the nature of the anatomical lesion of the coronary arteries. In patients with chronic coronary disease and signs of electrical myocardial instability, determined by frequent ventricular extrasystole on Holter electrocardiogram monitoring, multifocal and more severe anatomical lesions of the coronary arteries are recorded in almost all basins of the coronary bed. It has been shown that signs of myocardial electrical instability in patients with chronic coronary disease are associated with a significantly higher frequency of multivessel lesions (registered in 56.7% of cases) and obstructive chronic coronary disease (in 100% of cases). In the group with chronic coronary disease and frequent ventricular extrasystole, compared with the group without frequent ventricular extrasystole, an association of multivessel lesions of the coronary arteries with myocardial electrical instability was demonstrated, which confirms the fact of more severe damage to the coronary arteries in patients with frequent ventricular extrasystole. In patients with chronic coronary disease and frequent ventricular extrasystole, the obstructive variant of chronic coronary disease was determined in all cases, while in the group without frequent ventricular extrasystole, such cases amounted to 60.0% (p=0.0001). | uk_UA |
